Company Overview   Ciena Corporation (NYSE: CIEN) is a networking system, services, and software company. The Company operates through four segments: Networking Platforms; Platform Software and Services; Blue Planet Automation Software and Services; and Global Services.

As per our previous ‘Diversified Opportunities Report published on CIEN on 26th May 2022, Kalkine provided a ‘Buy’ stance on the stock at USD 49.58 based on ‘positive outlook, good cash position, associated risks, and upside indicated based on Valuation done, and the stock price has now moved by ~11.56% since then and the price is now moved above the Resistance 1 level and now heading towards resistance R2.

Considering the resistance, target level attainment, current trading levels, risks associated, and volatile market condition on the back of rising interest rates, a ‘Sell’ rating is assigned to the “CIEN” at the current market price of USD 55.31 (as of August 16, 2022, at 7:10 AM PDT).
