Humana plans to reaffirm FY 2026 guidance of at least $6.52 in diluted GAAP EPS and at least $9.00 in adjusted EPS. Key Highlights
- Adjusted FY 2026 EPS guidance remains at least $9.00 per share.

Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) intends to reaffirm FY 2026 guidance of at least $6.52 in diluted GAAP earnings per common share during meetings with investors and analysts. The company also intends to reaffirm adjusted EPS guidance of at least $9.00 for the year ending December 31, 2026.
September Meetings and Guidance
The company said its FY 2026 adjusted EPS guidance is unchanged at at least $9.00, while its GAAP EPS outlook remains at least $6.52. The reconciliation includes 0.30 for amortization of identifiable intangibles, 1.47 for put and call valuation adjustments linked to non-consolidating minority interest investments, 1.27 for value creation initiatives and 0.17 for Impairment charges. It also lists a cumulative net tax impact of (0.73).
GAAP Outlook Retains Potential Flexibility
Humana said its FY 2026 GAAP and adjusted EPS guidance excludes value changes for items not yet recognized or not currently reasonably estimable. The company expects potential changes to GAAP guidance because of ongoing value creation and other strategic initiatives, while it does not expect changes to adjusted EPS guidance. Adjusted EPS is a non-GAAP measure that management uses alongside GAAP EPS to compare and analyze core operating performance, plan and make decisions, and determine incentive compensation. Humana cautioned that adjusted EPS is not a substitute for or superior to GAAP EPS, is not intended to normalize earnings or eliminate volatility, and may differ from similarly titled measures used by other companies.
