Cerebras Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:CBRS): Concentration and Supply

Cerebras Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:CBRS) fell from USD 194.95 to USD 177.65. A research firm said OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol Ultrafast tier, unveiled at DevDay on September 29, is running at low batch size on Nvidia hardware, near 300 tokens per second versus up to 750 on Cerebras for an earlier tier. Neither company confirmed it. About 19.4 million shares became saleable at 6:00 a.m. ET, with larger waves on October 14 and October 28, and insiders sold about USD 266 million over three months. OpenAI is its largest customer by backlog of USD 24.6 billion. The shares are about 54% below the 52-week high near USD 385. Cerebras Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:CBRS) had a GAAP net loss of USD 450.5 million last quarter. Second-quarter core cloud revenue rose 287% to USD 127.7 million and 2026 core revenue guidance was lifted to USD 880 million to USD 890 million. Gimlet Labs agreed to deploy 100 megawatts of Cerebras infrastructure, a diversification step. OpenAI says it runs a mixed fleet across Nvidia, AMD, Broadcom and Cerebras silicon, so one tier does not decide the relationship.

Concentrix Corporation (NASDAQ:CNXC): AI Is Eating Support Hours

Concentrix Corporation (NASDAQ:CNXC) reported on September 29. Revenue fell 1.2% to USD 2,453.7 million, adjusted EPS of USD 2.92 beat estimates, and record third-quarter adjusted free cash flow was USD 218 million. The USD 1.05 billion impairment produced an operating loss of USD 910.3 million. Guidance of USD 2.41 billion to USD 2.46 billion for the fourth quarter fell short of the USD 2.52 billion analysts expected. CEO Chris Caldwell said half of revenue now comes from business won in the last three years since AI arrived. The pre-market price of USD 22.11 compares with about USD 24.88 the day before. Concentrix Corporation (NASDAQ:CNXC) shows how AI can shrink outsourced support demand. Revenue has fallen for three straight quarters, from USD 2.50 billion to about USD 2.46 billion, and a change in delivery locations created a 3% headwind. Full-year adjusted EPS guidance was lifted slightly to about USD 11.03 and the dividend was raised, so profitability is holding. The market is pricing a shrinking top line against steady cash flow.

Constellation Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:CEG): Power Demand Versus Share Supply

Constellation Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:CEG) slid from USD 293.90 on September 9 to USD 254.71 on September 18, then fell about 4.0% on September 30 to near USD 254. Calpine holders received 50 million shares, half freed from lock-up on June 30 and the rest due June 30, 2027. A report said grid queue delays could stretch the Crane restart toward 2031, against a 2027 target that the company has not changed. The stock is down roughly 28% to 31% this year, trades near 24.7 times earnings against a five-year median of 28.4, and analysts averaged targets near USD 349 earlier this month. Constellation Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:CEG) also has long-term power contracts with large buyers, and it raised 2026 earnings guidance. In June, selling holders agreed to sell 11 million shares at USD 281 and the company repurchased about USD 558 million of stock. Morgan Stanley lifted its target to USD 369 on September 18. The one-year range is USD 228.63 to USD 412.70, and rising Treasury yields have pressured capital-intensive power names.

ERock, Inc. (NYSE:EROC): Fast Power at a Discount to Its IPO

ERock, Inc. (NYSE:EROC) makes modular natural-gas generators for behind-the-meter power that can be deployed in 12 to 15 months, versus four to six years for some grid connections. Clear Street initiated on September 28 at Buy with a USD 24 target, based on 16 times 2028 adjusted EBITDA, about 86% above USD 12.90. Wolfe and JPMorgan also set USD 24 targets. The IPO priced on June 10 at USD 21.50, and the stock fell 26% from mid-June as AI stocks declined. Volume was about 10% of normal. Meta and Anthropic are key users. ERock, Inc. (NYSE:EROC) had a backlog of about USD 1.3 billion at March 31, nearly nine times the prior year. The IPO raised about USD 600 million for 27.9 million shares, and the company aims for roughly 1.2 GW of annual assembly capacity by the end of 2026. Execution, equipment supply and permitting are the key risks, and pre-IPO holders could become sellers when lock-ups end.

Where Things Stand

The most exposed stock is Cerebras, because one customer and a rolling supply of unlocked shares can move it sharply, while Concentrix shows the opposite risk, that AI shrinks a legacy business. Cerebras Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:CBRS) closed below its IPO price. Constellation Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:CEG) and ERock, Inc. (NYSE:EROC) benefit from AI power demand but suffer from share supply and weak sentiment. Concentrix Corporation (NASDAQ:CNXC) has strong cash flow but falling sales, which investors punished with an 11% drop. The balance of evidence is mixed, with AI acting as both a growth driver and a threat. The next catalysts are the October 14 and October 28 unlocks, Concentrix's fourth quarter and third-quarter power results.
