TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc.® (NASDAQ:TOMZ), a leader in disinfection and decontamination solutions, has announced a significant contract valued at approximately $450,000 to install a SteraMist iHP Custom Engineered System (CES) at a leading university in Rhode Island. This contract was secured through TOMI's distributor, ARES Distribution, and demonstrates the company’s continued success in outperforming key competitors in the hydrogen peroxide-based disinfection market.

The contract reflects the effectiveness and adaptability of TOMI’s SteraMist technology, which is increasingly favored for its superior performance compared to traditional disinfection systems. Additionally, TOMI is in ongoing negotiations with a long-standing client in Boston, a previous adopter of the CES system, for a potential upgrade and expansion project. The demand for advanced decontamination solutions within academic institutions is growing, and TOMI’s innovative technology is meeting this need with proven results.

TOMI’s SteraMist iHP technology continues to gain popularity, particularly in the life sciences sector. As the industry in Boston anticipates a rebound in 2025, TOMI’s systems are expected to remain a preferred choice for disinfection and decontamination needs. Earlier this quarter, TOMI secured another sale, adding a SteraPak system to a private university in Massachusetts. The new Rhode Island contract contributes to TOMI’s strong portfolio in the New England region, which includes over twenty biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and research universities.

Elissa J. (E.J.) Shane, COO of TOMI Environmental Solutions, expressed excitement about the continued expansion of SteraMist technology in New England, a region known for its life science innovation and academic institutions. "These orders validate the efficacy of our solutions and reinforce our commitment to supporting the critical work being done in these institutions," said Shane.

TOMI’s SteraMist systems, powered by its patented Binary Ionization Technology® (BIT™), are deployed in various sectors, including medical, pharmaceutical, and academic environments, providing a reliable solution for infection prevention and environmental disinfection.
