Enhanced Group (NYSE:ENHA) shares are trading down 27.57% at $6.83 despite an announcement that key shareholders have extended their lock-up periods to May 8, 2027. The stock sits near its 52-week low of $6.54, against a 52-week high of $140.00.

Enhanced Group is a New York-based company that operates the Enhanced Games, a multi-sport competition with medically supervised performance enhancement, and Live Enhanced, a direct-to-consumer platform offering clinician-guided protocols and supplements. It went public through a Merger with a special purpose Acquisition company on May 8, 2026.

Lock-Up Extension Cuts the November 8 Share Release by 60%

Apeiron Investment Group, the family office of co-founder Christian Angermayer, and CEO Maximilian Martin were among holders that voluntarily agreed to extend lock-ups until May 8, 2027. Only 2.1 million shares will now be released on November 8, rather than 5.2 million.

Apeiron has also acquired about 1.4 million additional shares in recent months, roughly 0.9 million through open-market purchases and bilateral transactions and 0.5 million in the June 2026 private placement.

Reverse Split and Free Float Shape the Share Count

After November 8, only 6.1 million of 13.7 million outstanding shares will be freely tradable, adjusted for a one-for-ten Reverse Stock Split that took effect on October 29. The company said a significant portion of that free float is held by Apeiron and other holders who just extended lock-ups on their remaining shares.

Angermayer said the extension reflects conviction in the company's long-term strategy and that Apeiron will continue to assess opportunities to increase its stake.

November 8 Release Date Remains the Next Marker

The lock-up release on November 8 is the next dated event for the share count. Shares are down sharply today even with the reduced supply, leaving the stock near the bottom of its 52-week range.
