  • Full range of Tigo EI Inverters passes Czech Republic’s PPDS P4 grid compliance tests
  • Certification enables EI Residential suite integration across Czech solar market
  • 107MW of Tigo MLPE deployed in the Czech Republic during 2024

Tigo Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: TYGO) has announced that its full portfolio of three-phase Tigo EI Inverters has passed the PPDS P4 certification required for grid connection in the Czech Republic. This certification, defined under the country’s Distribution System Operation Rules, Annex 4, confirms compliance with the European Commission’s technical standards adopted by local utilities.

With this certification in place, Tigo is introducing its EI Residential system into the Czech market. The system integrates solar generation, energy storage, and energy management into a unified platform. It includes TS4 Flex MLPE, single- and three-phase inverters, modular battery storage, and the EI Link, designed to centralize wiring, communication, and backup functionality. The product suite also incorporates the GO EV Charger and GO Junction to support electric mobility and heat pump systems.

The expansion follows strong adoption of Tigo’s MLPE products, which saw 107 megawatts deployed in the Czech Republic in 2024. The country added 967 megawatts of mostly residential rooftop solar last year, positioning it as Tigo’s second-largest European market.

Tigo’s development of the EI Residential suite is based on insights gathered through its Green Glove Service Program. The company has introduced enhancements focused on ease of installation and commissioning, aimed at reducing setup time and minimizing manual configuration steps. The system is managed through the company’s Energy Intelligence platform, offering real-time monitoring and streamlined maintenance.

Installers and solar professionals in the Czech Republic are invited to engage with Tigo at the upcoming Iftech Solar Fvest event in September 2025. Additional outreach includes a Czech-language webinar on the EI Residential Solution scheduled for July.

Founded in 2007, Tigo Energy develops hardware and software technologies for residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar systems. Its offerings include module-level power electronics (MLPE), inverters, battery storage, and cloud-based software tools for performance monitoring, energy optimization, and safety compliance.
