The United States Commodity Index Funds Trust (NYSE:USCI) filed a Form 8-K furnishing the monthly account statements, as of August 31, 2026, for its two series: the United States Commodity Index Fund, which trades on NYSE Arca under the symbol USCI, and the United States Copper Index Fund, which trades on NYSE Arca under the symbol CPER. The statements are attached as Exhibit 99.1 and are furnished under Regulation FD, in connection with the requirements of Rule 4.22 of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

The filing is signed by Stuart P. Crumbaugh, Chief Financial Officer of the trust's sponsor, United States Commodity Funds LLC.

The Commodity Index Fund

That included a realized trading gain on commodity futures of $15,495,158, an unrealized gain on commodity futures of $2,767,723, dividend income of $608,908 and interest income of $561,312. Total expenses were $314,892, of which management fees were $256,922, and net income was $19,118,205.

USCI's net asset value began the month at $369,384,403. The fund issued 50,000 shares for $5,252,241, and the statement shows ending net asset value of $393,754,849, or $106.42 per share, with 3,700,000 shares outstanding.

The Copper Index Fund

CPER reported total income of $16,379,307 for August. The components were a realized trading gain on commodity futures of $19,651,159, a realized loss on swap contracts of $841,725, an unrealized loss on commodity futures of $4,734,352, dividend income of $1,177,113 and interest income of $1,122,212. Expenses totaled $570,642, including management fees of $412,882, leaving net income of $15,808,665.

The fund started August with net assets of $732,117,662. During the month it issued 650,000 shares for $26,109,423 and redeemed 600,000 shares for $23,740,085. Ending net asset value was $750,295,665, equal to $40.02 per share, with 18,750,000 shares outstanding. On a net basis, the fund issued 50,000 more shares than it redeemed during the month, so both the share count and the net income contributed to the change in net assets.

The exhibit also presents a consolidated statement for the trust. It shows net income for the month of $34,926,870 on total income of $35,812,404 and total expenses of $885,534. Net assets began the month at $1,101,502,065 and ended at $1,144,050,514 after share additions of $31,361,664 for 700,000 shares and withdrawals of $23,740,085 for 600,000 shares. Those consolidated figures are the sum of the two funds.

What These Statements Are

Funds that hold futures contracts are generally operated by a commodity pool operator, and CFTC rules require such operators to provide account statements to participants. Rule 4.22 covers those periodic reports, and the filing states that each statement carries a certification that, to the best of the signer's knowledge and belief, the information in the account statement for the month ended August 31, 2026 is accurate and complete.

The September Statements Will Show How Both Funds Moved

The trust furnishes statements of this kind on a monthly basis, so the account statements for September 2026 would be the next in the series, and they would show how the funds' net assets and share counts changed after August 31. For a fuller picture, including the funds' holdings, risks and audited results, investors can turn to the trust's quarterly reports on Form 10-Q and its annual report on Form 10-K, along with the funds' prospectus materials.
