Aehr Test Systems (NASDAQ:AEHR): Results Behind the Move
Aehr Test Systems (NASDAQ:AEHR) reported fiscal first-quarter 2027 results on November 2, 2026, for the quarter ended September 25. Revenue was USD 33.0 million, up 200% from USD 11.0 million and up 75% from USD 18.8 million in the prior quarter. GAAP Net Income was USD 7.2 million against a loss a year earlier, and bookings were USD 46.7 million, a book-to-bill ratio of about 1.4. Fiscal 2027 revenue guidance was raised to USD 150 million from USD 130 million to USD 150 million. The shares rose about 14% after hours and closed up 26.5% on November 3. Aehr is a small company, so a small number of trades can move the price, spreads can be wide and quoted moves can reverse, and a move of 26.5% in one session does not imply the rise will continue. Revenue depends on a few large customers, so one delayed order could change results sharply. Cash fell to USD 105.1 million from USD 116.5 million at May 29, 2026, and effective Backlog was USD 109.3 million. Management said it sees production potential across more than a dozen customers, a claim that remains to be shown in orders, and a Taiwan installation is planned for early 2027.
EVgo (NASDAQ:EVGO): A Proposal Priced Below the Offer
EVgo (NASDAQ:EVGO) shares rose about 47% on November 2, 2026, with intraday gains reported as high as about 54%, after LS Power Equity Advisors proposed USD 2.00 in cash for each Class A share it does not own. The offer is about 59% above the prior close, which implies a close near USD 1.26, simple arithmetic. LS Power affiliates hold 178,682,352 shares, equal to 56.81% of combined voting power, per a Schedule 13D/A filed November 2. The filing says the proposal may be modified or withdrawn, and EVgo formed a special committee of independent directors, so no deal is agreed. One snapshot showed shares at USD 1.84, about 8.7% below the offer. EVgo is a small-cap stock, so a small number of trades can move the price, spreads can be wide and quoted moves can reverse. Results are scheduled for November 9, per published coverage, and a withdrawn or lowered proposal is the main risk. The company operates more than 1,200 fast-charging sites across 47 states per published coverage, and a long review or Shareholder litigation could also delay any outcome. A cash offer means no dilution, but the premium is only as good as the chance the deal completes.
Perion Network (NASDAQ:PERI): A Signed Deal, Still a Gap
Perion Network (NASDAQ:PERI) agreed to be acquired by Affle 3i Limited for USD 11.70 per share in cash, an equity value of about USD 420 million, under a Merger agreement signed on November 1, 2026 and announced on November 2. The price is a 34.5% premium to the October 30 close, which implies a close near USD 8.70, simple arithmetic, and published market data showed shares up about 31%, below the premium. Closing is expected in early 2027, subject to Perion shareholder approval and other conditions, and the release gave no financing or termination fee details. Perion withdrew its 2026 outlook and all other financial targets, including 2028 targets, and suspended its buyback while the deal is pending. The average repurchase price of about USD 9.24 is below the offer. Perion is a small cap, so a small number of trades can move the price and quoted moves can reverse. Shares of a company under an agreed cash deal typically trade near the offer less a discount for time and risk. Results are due November 16. Perion's filings are made on Form 6-K, the form used by foreign private issuers, and Affle, which is listed in India, has no US ticker.
Inovio (NASDAQ:INO): The Largest Move, a Small Trial
Inovio (NASDAQ:INO) announced on October 30, 2026 that the FDA granted accelerated approval to VOCERYQ to reduce the frequency of surgery in adults with recurrent respiratory papillomatosis, and published coverage showed the stock up roughly 224% on November 2. In the RRP-001 trial, 7 of 26 patients in the efficacy population, or 27% with a 95% confidence interval of 12% to 48%, needed no surgical excision after 12 months, and the trial was single-arm and open-label with 32 patients. Accelerated approval allows approval on an intermediate endpoint, so a confirmatory study is required, with a draft protocol due by the end of 2026. Ordering and shipping are expected in about 60 days and full launch in the first quarter of 2027. Inovio is a small cap, so a small number of trades can move the price, spreads can be wide and quoted moves can reverse. A further equity raise to fund the launch would dilute holders, and cash and runway figures from before the approval may be outdated. Commercial risks include being second to market and the cost of building a sales force, with Syneos Health supporting field teams.
Where Things Stand
Moves of 26.5% to 224% can last only if the underlying catalyst converts, and the four catalysts differ sharply in firmness. Perion has a signed cash deal, Aehr has real results, EVgo has only a proposal and Inovio has an approval but a thin trial. In every case the stock is small, so a few trades can move the price and quoted gains can reverse. Aehr Test Systems (NASDAQ:AEHR) has the firmest support from results. Perion has the firmest structure. EVgo (NASDAQ:EVGO) has the weakest support, resting on a proposal, and Inovio has a small trial. The next catalysts are Perion's shareholder vote and results on November 16, EVgo's report on November 9 and Inovio's launch. None of these moves is a forecast.
