ECD Automotive Design, Inc. (NASDAQ:ECDA), announced a U.S. distribution alliance with Chelsea Truck Company (“CTC”), a subsidiary of Kahn Design. The partnership will develop a new series of Land Rover Defender L663 and INEOS Grenadier builds under the joint brand ECD × CTC.

The collaboration combines CTC’s British design and engineering expertise with ECD’s craftsmanship, performance integration, and luxury interiors. Vehicles will be assembled at ECD’s 100,000-square-foot “Rover Dome” facility in Kissimmee, Florida, using CTC’s premium exterior and interior components.

This move expands ECD’s offering beyond classic restorations, introducing a line of modern SUVs designed for quicker delivery and refined engineering execution. Since their market debuts in 2020 and 2023 respectively, more than 100,000 Land Rover Defenders and 12,000 INEOS Grenadiers have been sold in the United States, signaling a sizable customer base for enhancement and customization.

“This agreement with Chelsea Truck Company extends our long-standing relationship with Kahn Design,” said Scott Wallace, CEO and Co-Founder of ECD. “It allows us to utilize existing factory capacity and technical expertise in a capital-efficient way, expanding our total addressable market into the enhancement of new Land Rover Defenders and INEOS Grenadier vehicles, all while maintaining ECD’s craftsmanship and design standards that customers expect,” concluded Wallace.
