Alight (NYSE:ALIT): Revenue Slides While a Narrower Loss Hides Weak Margins
Alight (NYSE:ALIT) filed its Quarterly Report on November 3, 2026 for the period ended September 30. Revenue was USD 500 million against USD 533 million, a drop of 6.2%, and Recurring Revenue fell 6.3% to USD 458 million. The company blamed lower net commercial activity, meaning client losses and lower bookings, and said the effect should continue into fiscal 2027. The net loss narrowed to USD 51 million only because the prior-year quarter held a USD 1,338 million Goodwill impairment, so the change is not an operating recovery. Selling, general and administrative expenses rose 40.2% to USD 122 million, and the extract does not explain the full driver. Operating loss was USD 61 million. A 1-for-20 reverse split took effect on June 30, 2026, and a smaller share count can mean thinner trading, wider spreads and quoted moves that reverse. Alight bought the private company Abett on October 1, 2026, which is not expected to be material. Interest expense of USD 25 million also weighs on results, and Gross Profit fell to USD 135 million from USD 178 million.
USANA Health Sciences (NYSE:USNA): Guidance Cut Follows a Corrected EBITDA Baseline
USANA Health Sciences (NYSE:USNA) reported fiscal third quarter results for the period ended October 3, 2026 on November 3, 2026. Net sales fell 4% to USD 206 million, and the net loss narrowed to USD 5.6 million, or USD 0.30 per diluted share. Fiscal 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance is now USD 77 million, against a corrected USD 80.5 million. The correction arose because a USD 29.1 million goodwill Impairment at the Hiya Business had been added back in full instead of net of the USD 6.2 million attributable to the noncontrolling interest. The earlier outlook of about USD 87 million therefore fell sharply once the error was fixed, a non-GAAP change with no effect on GAAP results. Core Nutritional active customers fell to 356,000 from 388,000, while Hiya active monthly subscribers rose 18% sequentially to 195,500. The company ended the quarter with USD 179 million of cash, no Debt and USD 36 million of year-to-date free cash flow. Continued customer attrition and Hiya Margin pressure are the stated risks.
Accel Entertainment (NYSE:ACEL): Wyoming In, West Virginia Out
Accel Entertainment (NYSE:ACEL) filed its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the period ended September 30, 2026 on November 3, 2026. The filing says the distributed gaming operator commenced operations in Wyoming in October 2026, mainly at truck stops, and began winding down West Virginia at the same time. The West Virginia exit is expected to be completed in November 2028 and is not expected to have a material effect on results. Revenue splits with location partners are statutory in Illinois, Georgia and Pennsylvania, and negotiated in Montana, Nevada, Nebraska, Iowa, Louisiana and Wyoming. Where splits are negotiated, pricing becomes a driver in contract talks, so Wyoming adds exposure to negotiated economics. Accel also received its first licenses for the City of Chicago at the end of October 2026. The extract reviewed stops before the results tables, so quarterly revenue, earnings, cash and debt could not be verified and are not stated. The reason for the West Virginia exit was not given in the extract, and Fairmount Park's revenue share agreement with FanDuel is another item to follow.
Phoenix Education Partners (NYSE:PXED): 83,700 Degreed Students and an IPO Without Company Proceeds
Phoenix Education Partners (NYSE:PXED), the operator of the University of Phoenix, filed its Annual Report on Form 10-K on November 3, 2026, for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2026. Average total degreed enrollment was 83,700, split between 67,400 undergraduates and 16,300 graduate students. Employer relationships accounted for 35.2% of enrollment, and degree programs made up about 98% of net revenue. The student base is mainly working adults, with 73% employed and an average age of 37 among new students. The company completed its initial public offering in October 2025, when funds tied to Apollo Global Management and the Vistria Group sold 4,887,500 shares at USD 32.00 for USD 156.4 million, and the company received no proceeds. The extract available did not include revenue, Net Income or guidance figures. Risks include Title IV federal student aid eligibility, accreditation, policy shifts, a Cybersecurity incident identified in November 2025 and changes to internet search driven by artificial intelligence.
Where Things Stand
Alight revenue fell 6.2% because the company lost clients and booked less new business, and management says that drag will persist through fiscal 2027. Alight (NYSE:ALIT) also reported a loss that looks smaller only because last year's USD 1,338 million goodwill impairment does not repeat. USANA Health Sciences (NYSE:USNA) cut guidance after a baseline correction. Accel Entertainment (NYSE:ACEL) reshuffled its state footprint without disclosing quarterly results in the extract reviewed. Phoenix Education Partners (NYSE:PXED) showed enrollment scale and employer-linked Demand but no profitability figures. The balance of evidence is cautious, because two of the four filings lacked the numbers needed to judge earnings.
