Rafael Holdings completed the Last Patient Last Visit milestone in its pivotal Phase 3 TransportNPC study evaluating Trappsol Cyclo.
Rafael Holdings (NYSE: RFL) announced the successful completion of the Last Patient Last Visit milestone for the final 96-week treatment period in its global Phase 3 TransportNPC clinical trial.
The study is evaluating Trappsol Cyclo, also known as hydroxypropyl beta cyclodextrin, for the treatment of Niemann-Pick Disease Type C, a rare and progressive neurodegenerative disorder.
Completion of the milestone represents a significant operational achievement and moves the program closer to potential data analysis and future regulatory discussions.
Investors are closely watching the program given the substantial unmet medical need associated with NPC and the importance of Phase 3 outcomes in determining future commercialization prospects.
