Haleon (LSE/NYSE: HLN) has broken ground on its new GBP130 million Global Oral Health Innovation Centre in Weybridge, Surrey. The project marks a significant step in the company’s expansion of its oral health research and development infrastructure. Once completed, the centre will act as a hub for scientific collaboration and product development within Haleon’s global oral health portfolio.
The facility will integrate research, digital innovation, commercial planning, and supply chain functions. It will also feature a digital immersive room to facilitate real-time collaboration with Haleon’s manufacturing site in Levice. The building’s atrium is designed to serve as a central space for co-creation and interdisciplinary teamwork.
The site has achieved a BREEAM® Outstanding rating at the Phase 1 design stage, underscoring its sustainability credentials. BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is a recognized standard for sustainable building practices in the UK.
Haleon develops and markets consumer health products across six categories: oral health, vitamins and supplements, pain relief, respiratory health, digestive health, and skin health. Its product lines include brands such as Sensodyne, parodontax, Polident, Panadol, Advil, and Voltaren.
