Cognizant enhances AI adoption across industries through NVIDIA-powered enterprise AI solutions.
Focus areas include AI agents, industry-specific LLMs, digital twins, AI infrastructure, and Cognizant’s Neuro® AI platform.
AI-driven advancements improve efficiency in business operations, manufacturing, and healthcare administration.
Cognizant (NASDAQ:CTSH) has unveiled a series of AI advancements powered by NVIDIA technology, aimed at accelerating AI adoption across various industries. The initiative focuses on five key areas: enterprise AI agents, industry-specific large language models (LLMs), digital twins for smart manufacturing, foundational AI infrastructure, and enhancements to Cognizant’s Neuro® AI platform.
At the NVIDIA GTC 2025 conference, Cognizant introduced updates on its AI-driven offerings, emphasizing solutions that streamline business operations and improve decision-making. One of the key developments is Cognizant’s Neuro AI Multi-Agent Accelerator, which operates on NVIDIA NIM™ microservices. This framework allows businesses to build scalable AI agents for adaptive operations, customer engagement, and supply chain management, using a low-code platform. The integration with NVIDIA Riva and NVIDIA Blueprints further supports modular AI architecture, ensuring security and human oversight.
Cognizant is also advancing industry-specific LLMs using NVIDIA NeMo and NIM to address sector-specific challenges. In healthcare, for instance, an AI-driven model aims to enhance medical code extraction, reduce administrative errors, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and GDPR. Early benchmarking indicates that this model could lower operational effort by 30-75%, improve coding accuracy by 30-40%, and accelerate time to market by 40-45%.
Another area of focus is industrial digital twins, powered by NVIDIA Omniverse™, which help optimize manufacturing and supply chain processes. These digital twins integrate real-time data with AI-driven simulations to improve plant layouts, enhance operational efficiency, and optimize capital expenditure. The platform enables organizations to model large-scale systems such as factories, warehouses, and smart grids, facilitating predictive analytics and strategic planning.
To support AI implementation, Cognizant is also expanding its infrastructure offerings. The company provides AI-ready environments through “GPU as a Service,” leveraging NVIDIA RAPIDS™ Accelerator for Apache Spark to enhance data pipeline efficiency. A case study from a U.S.-based healthcare provider demonstrated a 2.7x improvement in cost efficiency and a 1.8x increase in Spark workload performance using this infrastructure.
