Supermicro, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMCI) has announced that it is now accepting orders for more than 20 enterprise server models featuring the newly released NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. These systems are tailored for enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) workloads, including inference, model development, generative AI, rendering, video processing, and game development.

The announcement marks a new phase in Supermicro’s collaboration with NVIDIA, as the systems are designed to integrate with the NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory framework. These deployments will incorporate elements such as NVIDIA Spectrum-X networking, BlueField-3 data processing units (DPUs), NVIDIA-Certified storage systems, and the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite.

Among the systems available, Supermicro has introduced a single-socket, 4-GPU design based on NVIDIA’s MGX reference architecture. This system is engineered to bring AI computing closer to the edge, meeting the needs of decentralized deployments in industrial automation, retail, and analytics. The design emphasizes a balanced approach between compute power and efficiency, providing an alternative to traditional multi-GPU systems in environments where thermal, power, or space constraints are key considerations.

Supermicro’s new SYS-212GB-NR, its first MGX-based system, integrates four RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs in a compact design aimed at supporting AI workloads at the edge while reducing infrastructure costs. These systems are NVIDIA-Certified, ensuring compatibility with NVIDIA’s networking and AI software. Supermicro now offers over 100 accelerated systems supporting various NVIDIA GPUs, allowing flexible deployment across enterprise use cases.

NVIDIA’s Chris Marriott, Vice President of Enterprise Platforms, noted that enterprise AI infrastructure is evolving to support more flexible and distributed computing environments. According to Marriott, Supermicro’s systems built around the Blackwell architecture will help businesses more efficiently manage and deploy AI capabilities across various operational areas.
