As per our previous US Daily Report published on ‘X’ on June 04, 2025, we provided a ‘Buy’ stance on the stock at USD 53.76 based on “United States Steel Corporation’s solid fundamentals, demonstrated by a 5% EBITDA margin in its North American Flat-Rolled segment, steady Q1 2025 revenues of USD 3.727 billion despite seasonal challenges, improved profitability in its Mini Mill segment with a 10% EBITDA margin, associated risks such as low capacity utilization of 65% in Flat-Rolled, a healthy cash balance expected to improve with positive Q2 free cash flow, low debt levels supporting financial stability, and current valuation poised to benefit from the recent 50% steel import tariffs announced on June 1, 2025”.
