Alfahealth brings more than two decades of experience developing and operating technology for the Italian healthcare sector, delivered through a services-plus-product model. Its platform supports patient journeys across clinical workflows and diagnostics as well as administrative and operational processes, enabling healthcare providers to connect data across the care continuum and support more integrated models of care at the scale and regulatory rigor required by the Italian market.

The acquisition adds approximately 1,200 specialized professionals to Accenture's Italy health practice, deepening the company's existing presence in a market undergoing significant digital investment. Italy is expanding spending on digital health, interoperability, and new models of care delivery, and Alfahealth holds established relationships with healthcare organizations across the country along with a track record of supporting major national programmes in a regulated environment.

Accenture will augment Alfahealth's platform with its capabilities in AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure. The combination is intended to help healthcare providers and public institutions accelerate innovation, modernize clinical processes, and deliver more connected, data-driven patient experiences. The deal reflects Accenture's strategy of combining services, software, data, and AI-powered platforms under an integrated commercial model to deliver end-to-end transformation for clients.

Accenture generated approximately $70 billion in fiscal year 2025 revenue and serves around 9,000 clients globally across more than 120 countries, with approximately 786,000 employees.
