SEGG Media Rises 16.77% as Nasdaq Delisting Appeal Plays Out
Sports Entertainment Gaming Global (NASDAQ:SEGG) shares are trading up 16.77% at $1.31 today. No new announcement was identified for the move, which comes as the company, operating as SEGG Media, contests a Nasdaq delisting determination.
Nasdaq issued a staff determination on October 14 because the company had not filed its Form 10-Q for the period ended June 30, 2026. The company requested a hearing before the Nasdaq Hearings Panel and paid the $20,000 fee, which automatically stays suspension for 15 days.
Trading in the shares and warrants would have been suspended on October 23 absent an appeal. The stock sits at the bottom of its 52-week range, which began as high as $35.84.
Extended Stay Request and a 360-Day Exception Sought
The company has asked the Panel for a longer stay pending the hearing. It also seeks an exception allowing up to 360 days from the initial delinquency to regain compliance. It said there is no assurance either request will be granted, and the hearing date has not been confirmed.
The company previously went through a similar process in 2023 under its former name, Lottery.com, and kept its listing after the Panel allowed more time.
The company said it plans to file the overdue June 30 Quarterly Report as soon as practicable. Its Annual Report for 2025 and the March quarter report have already been filed, and Nasdaq confirmed those items are no longer deficiencies.
Veloce Acquisition, Sports.com Predict and Lottery Data Business
SEGG Media is a digital publisher supplying lottery results and jackpot data from about 40 countries. It also runs platforms for remote lottery purchases and sweepstakes games. In February 2026, it acquired a controlling interest in Veloce Media Group, which includes Veloce eSports, Quadrant and Veloce Racing.
In July, the company opened Sports.com Predict to the public with 1,195 prediction markets. A federal appeals court also affirmed the dismissal with prejudice of all claims against the company in August, and it has pursued a damages suit against a short-seller research firm.
The company renamed itself from Lottery.com effective January 27, 2026. It also announced plans in July to acquire premium gaming and casino Assets and amended a damages claim against a research firm to $35 million.
Going-Concern Language and a $4.47 Million Market Cap Shape the Risk Picture
First-quarter 2026 Revenue was about $1.20 million, helped by Veloce from February 17, and the net loss was about $3.54 million. Management has said substantial doubt exists about its ability to continue as a going concern, and the accumulated Deficit is about $290 million.
Trailing twelve-month revenue is $1.54 million, up 66.5%. The Panel's ruling on the stay, the hearing date and the filing of the overdue June quarter report are the key developments to watch.
Full-year 2025 revenue was $559,590, down 41.63%, with a reported loss of $20.81 million.
