Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC) announced that its subsidiary, Tutor Perini Building Corp., has been awarded a USD220 million contract for Phase 2 of the Eagle Mountain Casino expansion. Commissioned by the Tule River Gaming Authority, the development includes a wide range of hospitality and entertainment upgrades at the Porterville, California property.
Headquartered in the United States, Tutor Perini is a longstanding construction and engineering company that offers general contracting and design-build services globally. With operations dating back to 1894, the firm serves both public agencies and private clients across civil, building, and specialty construction markets.
The scope of the project includes a new 193-room hotel tower featuring a rooftop restaurant, expansion of an existing restaurant, and a 2,000-seat events center with convention and meeting space. Additional features include a new central warehouse and offices, a spa, arcade, resort pool, and pre-function areas. Work is scheduled to begin in summer 2025, with substantial completion expected by 2027.
The company noted that the contract value will be added to its project backlog in phases, beginning with the preconstruction award booked in the second quarter of 2025. Future awards tied to subsequent phases are anticipated later this year.
