Operating Leverage
Non-GAAP Operating Income was USD 285.7 million against USD 46.2 million a year earlier, as revenue growth outpaced a 26% rise in operating expenses. Non-GAAP Diluted Earnings per Share were USD 0.94 versus USD 0.15, and adjusted EBITDA was USD 299.5 million, or 24% of revenue.
GAAP net income attributable to common stockholders was USD 250.3 million, compared with a loss of USD 23.1 million. Over nine months, revenue was USD 3.052 billion against USD 1.246 billion, and GAAP net income was USD 517.2 million against a loss of USD 89.5 million. Cash and equivalents were USD 2.5 billion.
Capacity and Demand
Capital expenditures were USD 153 million in the quarter and USD 231 million year to date, roughly four times the total spent in all of 2025. The spending expands production inside the existing Fremont and Newark facilities. Management reported a tenfold increase in stack production capacity with a stable production headcount of 600 employees.
CEO K. R. Sridhar said hyperscalers and commercial customers are adopting on-site power as a complement to a capacity-constrained grid. Management cited a survey in which one quarter of commercial and industrial facilities plan to be fully powered on-site by 2030. The company described a 700-megawatt project with AEP and Google as its first large-scale use of carbon capture with its servers, and pointed to Utility front-of-the-meter arrangements as a growth channel.
Full-Year Guidance
For 2026, the company guides to revenue of USD 4.4 billion to USD 4.6 billion, about 122% growth at the midpoint. Non-GAAP operating income is guided at USD 960 million to USD 1,030 million, non-GAAP diluted earnings at USD 3.10 to USD 3.40 per share, and non-GAAP gross margin at about 34%, up from the 32% outlined at the start of the year.
The chief financial officer said the timing of a small number of deliveries around year end determines where results land within the range. Installation and product revenue do not move together from quarter to quarter, because installation scope varies by customer and is recognized over time.
Numbers in Context
Nine-month revenue of USD 3.052 billion leaves USD 1.35 billion to USD 1.55 billion to reach the guided range in the fourth quarter, against USD 1.236 billion booked in the third. Margin expansion came with spending: operating expenses grew 26%, and capital expenditures year to date are about four times the full-year 2025 total. Reference points are year-end delivery timing, product gross margin, the installation-to-product revenue relationship, capacity additions, and progress on the AEP and Google project.
