Pricing, Derivatives and Cost Detail
Of the USD 170 million Revenue increase, USD 131 million came from higher pricing per MMBtu, mainly on higher global LNG prices tied to geopolitical uncertainty. Total operating costs and expenses were USD 1.76 billion versus USD 1.71 billion, and operating and maintenance expense rose to USD 236 million from USD 191 million.
The nine month picture differs. Net income rose USD 286 million to USD 1.99 billion, with USD 488 million of better LNG margins offset by USD 208 million of unfavorable derivative Fair Value changes. In June 2026 the company applied the normal purchases and normal sales exception to its long-term integrated production Marketing agreements, so those purchases are no longer remeasured at fair value through earnings. Operating Cash Flow for nine months was USD 2.55 billion versus USD 1.88 billion.
