Guidance, Arcosa and the Velocity Program

Management updated full year 2026 guidance to Adjusted EBITDA of USD 7.8 to 8.0 billion, net income of USD 3.1 to 3.3 billion and adjusted diluted EPS of USD 5.37 to 5.59. The company tied the update to a softer residential market, cost Inflation and a partial year contribution from Arcosa, and it assumes normal weather and no major geopolitical disruption.

The USD 8.5 billion Arcosa Acquisition closed ahead of schedule, and the company targets about USD 175 million of run rate cost synergies by year three, including USD 60 million in the first year. Year to date, CRH has invested USD 10.4 billion in acquisitions, including USD 1.9 billion across 27 smaller deals, and completed three divestitures worth USD 1.9 billion. Velocity, a two year transformation program, targets about USD 400 million of annual Adjusted EBITDA run rate benefits by the end of 2028, and the 2030 margin target moved to the upper end of its range at about 24%.

Markers for the Fourth Quarter and 2027

Several items frame the next update. Full year Adjusted EBITDA of USD 7.8 to 8.0 billion sets the bar for the fourth quarter. The first year Arcosa synergy figure of USD 60 million and the USD 400 million Velocity target give integration benchmarks. Management said about 40% of IIJA funds remain undeployed and that it is acting on cost recovery to restore a positive price cost spread in 2027. On Capital returns, the USD 6 billion buyback is paired with a quarterly dividend of USD 0.39, up 5%, and a Leverage Ratio the company aims to normalize near two times.
