Guidance, Cash Flow and Capital Allocation
The company raised its full year adjusted EPS outlook to USD 5.20 to 5.32 from USD 5.12 to 5.30 and narrowed net sales guidance to USD 2.61 to 2.64 billion from USD 2.58 to 2.67 billion. The Chief Financial Officer attributed the narrowing mainly to delayed deliveries of third party refuse trucks, noting about USD 80 million of those trucks had been planned for 2026, roughly USD 50 million had been delivered, and some of the remaining USD 33 million could slide into 2027. Capital spending guidance remains USD 45 to 55 million, and the fourth quarter effective tax rate is projected near 25%.
Operating cash flow was USD 91 million, up 50%, bringing nine month cash from operations to USD 306 million. It paid dividends of USD 9.2 million, or USD 0.15 per share, and repurchased about 44,000 shares for roughly USD 5 million.
Signposts for the Fourth Quarter
Several specific items frame the next report. The Global Vacuum Systems purchase closed October 28, 2026 for an initial USD 29 million and includes an 87,000 square foot Texas plant. Backlog of USD 967 million stands USD 25 million lower than a year ago, with USD 71 million of the decline tied to the discontinued third party Labrie refuse business, whose remaining backlog is about USD 33 million. The net sales guidance implies fourth quarter sales of USD 659 to 689 million, according to the CFO. The USD 0.15 fourth quarter Dividend is a further data point.
