Venture Global (NYSE: VG) shares were trading at USD 14.00 on October 23, 2026, up 9.29%. The liquefied natural gas exporter disclosed preliminary third-quarter 2026 operating metrics on October 7, ahead of its full quarterly earnings report, detailing export volumes and realized pricing across its two operating facilities.

Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, and incorporated in Delaware, Venture Global operates LNG export facilities under its Calcasieu Pass and Plaquemines projects. The company periodically discloses certain key performance metrics after the end of a calendar quarter but before its full quarterly earnings report during the commissioning or operations phases of one or more of its facilities.

Third-Quarter Export Volumes Disclosed Ahead of Full Results

For the quarter ended September 30, 2026, Venture Global said it sold and recognized in revenue 465.8 TBtu of LNG at an implied weighted average fixed liquefaction fee of $6.79 per MMBtu, exporting 124 cargoes in total from its facilities. The company’s Plaquemines facility, its larger and more recently constructed project, contributed 328.1 TBtu of LNG sold across 87 cargo exports, while its Calcasieu Pass facility contributed 137.7 TBtu across 37 cargo exports.

Venture Global noted that revenue recognition timing depends on the delivery terms of individual cargoes: volumes exported on a free-on-board basis are generally recognized as revenue when the LNG vessel is loaded and unmoors from a Venture Global facility, while volumes exported on a delivered basis, such as Delivered Ex-Ship or Delivered Place Unloaded terms, are generally recognized upon delivery at the vessel’s destination, which can push recognition into a subsequent reporting period. For the third quarter of 2026, the company said it exported five additional cargoes, totaling 20.4 TBtu, under delivered terms that will be recognized as revenue in the fourth quarter.

Full Financial Results Still Pending

Venture Global was explicit that the operating metrics disclosed do not represent a complete picture of its quarterly financial performance. The company said its net income, cash flow and other GAAP results, along with a reconciliation of any forward-looking non-GAAP measures such as Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA, will be announced separately when it reports full third-quarter earnings, and cautioned that the implied weighted average fixed liquefaction fee excludes the impact of gas supply basis costs and should not be relied upon as a sole indicator of quarterly financial results.
