Key Highlights

  • The S-1 chart data lists USD 161.2B for Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO), the largest of seven named Anthropic compute commitments totalling USD 637.0B; simple arithmetic puts it at about 25.3% of that named total.
  • Google Cloud is shown at USD 114.5B in the S-1 chart data, while a market commentator cites about USD 111 billion of non-cancellable contracts with Google for Anthropic, so Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) figures differ by source.
  • Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) is listed at USD 110.0B and Microsoft at USD 44.9B in the S-1 chart data, and about 48% of Anthropic's first-half 2026 Revenue came through cloud marketplaces, which makes those partners sales channels as well as suppliers.
  • The chart notes say the S-1 leaves its own aggregate blank and exclude estimated extra Google TPU and AMD capacity, while a private bank's CIO office cites at least USD 518 billion over a decade.

Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO): USD 161.2B, the Largest Named Commitment

Anthropic filed its S-1 with the SEC on October 26, 2026, and charts built on it name compute commitments by partner. Broadcom is shown at USD 161.2B, ahead of SpaceXAI at USD 120.5B, Google Cloud at USD 114.5B, Amazon at USD 110.0B, Microsoft at USD 44.9B, Nscale at USD 44.6B and Lambda at USD 41.3B. These add up to USD 637.0B. Simple arithmetic on the chart figures puts Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO) at about 25.3% of the named total, and its commitment at roughly 3.5 times Anthropic's USD 46.2B Q2 2026 annualised run rate. A market commentator explains that Broadcom designs Google's AI chips and would cover about USD 30 billion of a chip Lease to Anthropic if payments stopped. The chart notes say the partner figures are reported secondhand from S-1 pages 171 and 172, so Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO) readers should treat the number as secondary reporting until the final prospectus confirms or corrects it. The chart data does not say when payments fall due, so timing is unknown.

Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL): Google Cloud at USD 114.5B

The S-1 chart data puts Google Cloud at USD 114.5B, fourth among the seven named partners by size. A market commentator writing on October 26, 2026 gives a different figure, about USD 111 billion of computing contracts with Google that Anthropic cannot cancel, and the two numbers are not merged here. The commentator describes Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) as Anthropic's competitor, landlord, Shareholder and shop window at once, because Google rents chips, owns a stake and sells Claude through Vertex AI. He adds that in June a vehicle funded by Apollo and Blackstone raised about USD 35 billion of Debt to buy about a gigawatt of Google chips and lease them to Anthropic. His risk is a price war that cuts lab revenue while rent stays fixed, and he notes that Google said on August 11 that its Gemini app passed a billion monthly users. These are his views, and the figures remain unconfirmed by the companies. Investors may watch the final prospectus and how any Anthropic listing, which he says is possible as soon as November, is priced.

Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN): USD 110.0B and a Sales Channel

Amazon is shown at USD 110.0B in the S-1 chart data, which simple arithmetic puts at about 17.3% of the USD 637.0B named total and roughly 2.4 years of Anthropic's USD 46.2B Q2 2026 annualised run rate. A private bank's CIO office explains that Anthropic is largely distributed through the cloud platforms of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, so Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) is both a compute supplier and a sales channel. The S-1 chart data shows about 48% of first-half 2026 revenue came via cloud marketplaces. It also shows sales, Marketing and partnerships costs, which include cloud-partner fees, at USD 3.2B in the first half, up from USD 120 million a year earlier. The same note warns that Anthropic counts the gross value of some sales through cloud partners, while OpenAI counts only its share, so run rates are not directly comparable. The note also puts consumption-based usage at roughly 80% of first-half revenue, with subscriptions the remaining 20%.

Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT): USD 44.9B, Fifth of Seven

The S-1 chart data names USD 44.9B for Microsoft, the fifth largest of seven named partners and about 7.0% of the USD 637.0B total on simple arithmetic. That is just under one year of Anthropic's USD 46.2B Q2 2026 annualised run rate. A market commentary from October 26, 2026 cites a lower figure of USD 31 billion for Microsoft, and we do not merge the two. A private bank's CIO office lists Azure alongside AWS and Google Cloud among the marketplaces carrying almost half of first-half 2026 revenue, which makes Azure a sales channel as well as a supplier for Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT). The note also observes that cloud partners are competitors with their own models, and that about 20% of first-half revenue came from just two customers. For Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), the open question is how the figures are counted, not only their size. None of the commitment figures is advice or a forecast of future revenue for any supplier.

Where Things Stand

The S-1 chart data names Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO) as Anthropic's biggest compute partner at USD 161.2B, followed by SpaceXAI, Google Cloud at USD 114.5B, Amazon at USD 110.0B and Microsoft at USD 44.9B, within a USD 637.0B named total. Anthropic also depends on partners beyond the cloud giants, including SpaceXAI, Nscale and Lambda. The cloud platforms of Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) are also a sales channel. So is the platform of Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN). The same goes for Azure at Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT). Sources disagree on totals: the chart data names USD 637.0B, a private bank cites at least USD 518 billion, and a commentary cites about USD 450 billion non-cancellable. Readers should wait for the final prospectus and audited, like-for-like numbers. This reports figures and views, not advice.
