Whitaker's appointment brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company, stemming from over three decades in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and specialty pharmaceutical sectors.
Whitaker’s background includes a significant track record in clinical research, manufacturing, and corporate governance. She has served in senior roles at renowned companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi, and Bausch Health. Additionally, Whitaker has extensive experience as a Non-Executive Director, having worked with prominent organizations like Icon PLC (NASDAQ: ICLR) and QurAlis, where she currently holds the position of Chair.
Her most recent executive role was as Chair and CEO of Aerami Therapeutics Holdings, where she led strategic growth initiatives. Her appointment at Telix Pharmaceuticals underscores her capability in steering companies through complex commercial and risk management challenges, particularly in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Whitaker holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Business from the University of North Alabama, reinforcing her strong technical and business foundation.
