Box, Inc. (NYSE: BOX), a leader in Intelligent Content Management (ICM), has been selected by Swissport International AG as its unified platform for secure content management. Swissport, a global provider of aviation services, operates in 45 countries with over 60,000 employees. With a large proportion of its workforce being frontline employees without email access, Swissport needed a centralized system to securely manage and share content across various teams and locations.

Swissport first selected Box in 2022, and recently expanded to Box Enterprise Plus, utilizing the full suite of Content Cloud features. The platform serves as the backbone for Swissport’s employee communications, integrating with their custom-branded employee app, oneSwissport. This integration ensures that employees have secure access to company communications and critical documents, which is vital for maintaining data security, particularly regarding confidential information.

With over 850 air carriers relying on Swissport's services, including passenger and crew services, cargo handling, and executive aviation, the company requires a reliable and secure platform to handle vast amounts of business-critical content. Box’s secure features were a significant factor in Swissport's choice to use it as their content management layer.

Looking to the future, Swissport plans to use Box Hubs as content portals to improve operational efficiency. By aggregating resources such as aerodrome licenses and corporate content into Box Hubs, Swissport aims to further streamline workflows across its global teams.
