Infosys Ltd (NYSE:INFY) shares advanced 3.66% to close at $14.72 on February 13, 2026, after the company announced a strategic collaboration with Anthropic to develop and deploy next-generation enterprise artificial intelligence solutions across multiple industries.
The partnership marks a significant step in Infosys’ AI-first strategy, combining its Topaz platform with Anthropic’s Claude models to help organizations automate complex operations, modernize legacy systems, and implement AI with strong governance and transparency—critical for highly regulated sectors.
Claude and Topaz Integration to Drive Enterprise Automation
The collaboration centers on embedding Claude, including Claude Code, into Infosys Topaz to enable:
- End-to-end workflow automation
- Faster software development lifecycles
- Persistent AI agents for long-duration processes
- Cost-efficient legacy transformation
Rather than focusing only on productivity gains, the initiative is designed to reshape enterprise operating models through scalable, domain-specific AI deployments.
Telecom First, Multi-Industry Expansion Ahead
The rollout will begin in telecommunications with a dedicated Anthropic Center of Excellence, where AI agents will be built to streamline network operations, improve customer lifecycle management, and enhance service delivery.
The model will then extend to:
- Financial services: real-time risk analysis, automated compliance, and hyper-personalized advisory
- Manufacturing & engineering: AI-led design, simulation, and reduced R&D timelines
- Software development: accelerated coding, testing, and debugging using Claude Code
Infosys is already deploying these capabilities internally, creating implementation blueprints for client programs.
Agentic AI Moves to the Core of Digital Transformation
A central theme of the alliance is agentic AI—systems that can independently execute multi-step tasks such as claims processing, compliance reviews, and full software build cycles.
Using the Claude Agent SDK, enterprises will be able to deploy AI that works continuously across complex processes rather than delivering one-off outputs, significantly improving efficiency and decision speed.
Leadership Signals Long-Term Strategic Value
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei highlighted the importance of deep industry expertise in taking AI from demos to real-world regulated environments, while Infosys CEO Salil Parekh said the collaboration will help clients become more intelligent, resilient, and responsible through AI-led transformation.
Global Delivery Scale
With more than 330,000 employees across 63 countries, Infosys is positioning the partnership as a platform for large-scale enterprise AI adoption, reinforcing its role in the fast-evolving global digital services and consulting landscape.
