Margins and Regional Drivers

Gross profit rose to USD 70.0 million from USD 52.8 million, and the margin widened 370 basis points to 33.4%. The company credited higher volumes, favorable product mix, fixed cost leverage and price increases enacted in 2025 and early 2026, partly offset by higher selling and freight costs and investment in personnel. Operating income climbed to USD 24.9 million from USD 13.1 million, while selling, general and administrative costs combined reached USD 37.5 million.

PLP-USA led the growth on transmission and distribution demand, and its net sales topped USD 100 million for a second straight quarter. In the international segments, net sales in The Americas rose 7% in constant currency, helped by the May 2026 acquisition of Delta Star Conetores Electricos Ltda and higher communications volumes. Asia-Pacific grew 17% in constant currency on higher energy volumes. Tariffs continued to weigh on net income.

The release did not include numerical guidance for the coming period.
