City Therapeutics is a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based clinical-stage biotechnology company developing next-generation RNA interference therapeutics. It priced an upsized IPO of about $200 million and has 75 employees. Its City Platform combines engineered trigger molecules, including proprietary cityRNA, tissue-selective targeting ligands and genetics-driven target selection to extend siRNA delivery beyond the liver into ocular, central nervous system and adipose tissues.

Two November Conferences Are on the Calendar

The company announced that management will participate in a fireside chat at the Stifel 2026 Healthcare Conference in New York on November 10 and a presentation at the Jefferies Global Healthcare Conference in London on November 16. Live webcasts will be available on the investors section of its website, with replays for about 90 days.

The stock's slide to its lowest level since listing comes as it nears the $18 offer price, and the company has not announced a clinical readout alongside the conference schedule.

Lead Programs Span Thrombosis, Retinal Disease and Anemia

City's lead development programs are CITY-FXI for thromboembolic diseases, CITY-RBP4 for Stargardt disease and other retinal diseases, and CITY-TFR2 for anemia associated with chronic diseases. The company says the City Platform is the engine behind every therapeutic it develops and integrates expertise in trigger engineering, tissue-selective delivery and genetics-driven target selection.

First Investor Events Test Post-IPO Sentiment

With the stock trading just above its IPO price, the Stifel and Jefferies appearances give management a chance to outline clinical timelines for its lead programs. The shares are down from a high of $23.88 since listing.
