Key Highlights

  • Inovio is trading up 223.69% at $1.95 after FDA approval of VOCERYQ.
  • Enlivex and Tiziana are trading down 20.22% and 12.75% despite positive trial data.
  • Annovis received an NYSE listing notice and must submit a plan within 45 days.

Healthcare penny stocks produced some of the largest moves of the Nov. 2 session, driven by an FDA approval, trial data, a financing update and an exchange compliance notice. Stocks below $5 can swing far more than larger companies on a single headline, and thin Volume can exaggerate those moves. All seven names below traded under $5, and each reflects a different kind of catalyst, from a 224% surge to a decline of less than 1%. Only two of the seven rose, while five fell, even though several reported positive data.

Inovio (NASDAQ:INO): First DNA Medicine Approval

Inovio shares are trading up 223.69% at $1.95, against a previous close of $0.60, after the FDA granted Accelerated Approval to VOCERYQ for adults with recurrent respiratory papillomatosis. The company calls it the first FDA-approved DNA medicine, for a disease that causes wart-like growths in the respiratory tract and is treated mainly with surgery. Seven of 26 evaluated patients, or 27%, needed no surgery in the 12 months after treatment. Inovio expects to ship in about 60 days, with full launch in the first quarter of 2027, and continued approval may depend on a confirmatory study. Volume topped 182 million shares, and the 52-week range is $0.56 to $2.72.

Enlivex (NASDAQ:ENLV): Favorable Data, Sharp Decline

Enlivex shares are trading down 20.22% at $1.42, against a previous close of $1.78, even after favorable 12-month data for Allocetra in knee osteoarthritis. In patients aged 64 and older, 79.2% responded versus 47.6% on placebo (p=0.027), and no treatment-related serious adverse events were seen. However, the 12-month pain and function differences did not reach statistical significance. The company, which describes itself as a quality longevity company powered by a prediction markets treasury, will present the data at a conference on Nov. 8. Volume is about 100,630 shares.

Tiziana (NASDAQ:TLSA): Positive Multiple Sclerosis Trial

Tiziana shares are trading down 12.75% at $0.70, against a previous close of $0.80, after the company reported positive Phase 2a results for intranasal foralumab in non-active secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. The trial met its dual primary endpoints of reduced microglial activation on PET imaging (p=0.0168) and safety. Fatigue scores improved by more than four points in both dose arms, though the placebo group also improved by 3.12 points, and no change appeared in the EDSS secondary endpoint over three months. The company is London-based, has about 10 employees and trades near the low of a 52-week range of $0.64 to $1.95.

Annovis (NYSE:ANVS): NYSE Continued Listing Notice

Annovis shares are trading down 5.31% at $1.07, against a previous close of $1.13, after the company said the NYSE notified it of non-compliance with a continued listing standard. The notice cites a 30-trading-day average market Capitalization of about $48.4 million alongside stockholders' Equity below $50 million. Annovis must submit a plan within 45 days to regain compliance within nine months, and the notice does not affect operations. Its lead candidate, buntanetap, is in Phase 3 for Alzheimer's disease, and the 52-week range is $0.93 to $5.50.

Propanc (NASDAQ:PPCB): Preclinical Pancreatic Cancer Data

Propanc shares are trading down 3.19% at $1.78, against a previous close of $1.84, after new preclinical findings in pancreatic cancer models. Its PRP formulation reduced cell proliferation by about 50%, and adding the TGF-beta inhibitor galunisertib lifted the reduction to 75% in wild-type cells and 66% in gemcitabine-resistant cells, while PRP alone raised E-cadherin expression more than fourfold. The data come from laboratory models, and the company has filed an Australian Patent application for the combination. It has two full-time employees and is preparing a Phase 1b first-in-human study.

Stereotaxis (NYSE American:STXS): Robotic Coronary System Results

Stereotaxis shares are trading up 2.02% at $0.88, against a previous close of $0.86, after first-in-human results for Robocath's next-generation coronary robotic system. All 20 patients met the clinical success criterion, technical success was 95%, and there were no device-related adverse events through 30 days, with physicians protected from fluoroscopy radiation. The study is a single-center pilot, so larger studies are still needed. The shares trade within a 52-week range of $0.81 to $2.93.

Accendra Health (NYSE:ACH): Financing Extension

Accendra Health shares are trading down 0.47% at $0.25, in line with the previous close, after the company extended its $150 million Receivables Sale Program to October 2029 with the size unchanged. Formerly Owens & Minor, it is now a pure-play home care platform whose Apria and Byram Healthcare brands serve diabetes, sleep apnea, respiratory therapy and wound care patients. Volume is heavy at about 32.65 million shares, and the stock sits near the low of a 52-week range of $0.19 to $4.69. The extension is a funding update rather than a change in operating results.

What the Seven Moves Show

The list shows how different Penny Stock catalysts can be. Inovio's move rests on a regulatory milestone, while Enlivex and Tiziana fell despite positive trial headlines, which shows that statistical detail and placebo comparisons can matter as much as the headline. Annovis and Accendra are stories about listing status and funding, and Propanc and Stereotaxis are early-stage evidence, with Stereotaxis rising only 2.02% on pilot data. Stocks under $5 carry higher volatility, thinner trading and heavier reliance on financing, so one-day moves can reverse quickly. Liquidity also differs widely across the group: Accendra traded about 32.65 million shares at $0.25, while Propanc traded about 20,560 shares, so the ease of entering or leaving a position is far from equal.
