FY24 Financial Update

In the financial year 2024 (FY24), Oscar Health reported revenues of USD 9,177.6 million, a notable increase of 56.5% compared to FY23, which stood at USD 5,862.9 million. This growth was mainly driven by higher revenue from the premium segment and a boost in investment income.

The company also saw a positive turn in its net income available to common shareholders, which reached USD 25.4 million, recovering from a loss of USD 270.7 million in FY23. This improvement was attributed to the increase in revenues, although it was somewhat offset by a rise in total costs and expenses.

The company’s net operating cash inflows saw a positive turnaround in FY24, rising to USD 978.2 million in FY24 from an outflow of USD 272.2 million in FY23. This was largely due to the increased net income, along with the favorable impact of changes in net working capital.

However, total cash and cash equivalents decreased by 18.3% YoY, from USD 1,870.3 million in FY23 to USD 1,527.2 million in FY24. This decline was mainly due to cash outflows from financing activities, although it was partially offset by inflows from both investing and operating activities.
