Palantir Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: PLTR) develops software platforms like Gotham, Foundry, Apollo, and AIP which supports counterterrorism, data integration, secure system operations, and enterprise AI deployment using large language models.
In the first quarter of the financial year 2025 (Q1FY25), the company’s revenue surged by 39.3% YoY to USD 883.9 million, driven by U.S. revenue, growing 55% YoY to USD 628 million, representing 71% of total revenue.
Net income attributable to common shareholders rose by 102.9% YoY to USD 214.0 million due to increased net revenue as well as higher interest income. Cash from operating activities surged by 139.4% YoY to USD 310.2 million, reflecting a favourable impact from changes in net working capital and increased net income.
However, cash and cash equivalents fell by 52.7% YoY to USD 993.5 million due to cash outflows from investing and financing activities, partially offset by inflows from operating activities.
Recent Business Update
Palantir Technologies and BlueForge Alliance launched the “Warp Speed for Warships” initiative on July 2, 2025, to digitally transform U.S. Navy shipbuilding using Palantir’s Foundry and Warp Speed platforms. Funded by the Navy’s Maritime Industrial Base Program, the project connects shipbuilders and suppliers to enhance fleet readiness and address national security needs.
On June 30, 2025, PLTR partnered with Accenture Federal Services to deploy AI-powered solutions across U.S. federal agencies. The collaboration will leverage Palantir’s Foundry and AIP platforms and train 1,000 data and AI professionals to enhance automation, workflows, and mission-critical decision-making.
Company Outlook
PLTR expects Q2 2025 revenue of USD 934–938 million and adjusted operating income of USD 401–405 million. For full-year 2025, it raised guidance to revenue of USD 3.890–3.902 billion, U.S. commercial revenue above USD 1.178 billion (≥68% growth), adjusted operating income of USD 1.711–1.723 billion, adjusted free cash flow of USD 1.6–1.8 billion, and positive GAAP income each quarter.
