Which Companies Raised Their Guidance With Third-Quarter Results?
Five companies that reported on Nov 2, 2026 pointed to a higher full-year or near-term outlook, although each used a different yardstick. Advanced Energy (NASDAQ:AEIS) posted record revenue of $696.4 million, up 50.3% (calculated), and now expects about 40% growth for 2026, up from a prior low-to-mid 30% target. Celanese (NYSE:CE) reported net sales of $2.556 billion, set full-year adjusted EPS at about $6.00 to $6.25 and lifted its free cash flow outlook to $750 million to $800 million.
Empire State Realty Trust (NYSE:ESRT) raised its 2026 Core FFO range to $0.77 to $0.80 per share from $0.75 to $0.79. Lattice Semiconductor (NASDAQ:LSCC) reported revenue of $291.0 million, up 118.3%, and guided the fourth quarter to $325 million to $345 million. V2X (NYSE:VVX) reported revenue of $1.271 billion, up 8.9%, and raised its 2026 revenue range to $4.95 billion to $5.1 billion.
The bases differ. Revenue runs from $193.1 million at Empire State Realty Trust to $2.556 billion at Celanese, and the raised measures include revenue growth, adjusted EPS, Core FFO and cash flow. Prior ranges for Celanese, Lattice Semiconductor and V2X were not stated in the files, so those increases rest on management's description.
Advanced Energy: How Far Did the Growth Outlook Rise?
Advanced Energy reported third-quarter revenue of $696.4 million against $463.3 million a year earlier, with non-GAAP EPS of $3.65 versus $1.74. GAAP Net Income was $115.6 million. Semiconductor revenue hit a record $322 million and Data Center computing reached $256 million.
Management now sees 2026 growth of about 40% and guided fourth-quarter revenue to $735 million, plus or minus $25 million, with non-GAAP EPS of $3.90, plus or minus $0.30. It said 2027 growth could be about 30%, subject to component supply, which was a directional comment rather than formal guidance.
Caution came from persistent shortages of certain integrated circuits, circuit boards and specialty ceramics, which are built into the forecasts. A one-time, non-cash tax write-down also lifted the GAAP tax rate to 23.6% from 15.7% on a non-GAAP basis.
Celanese: What Is Behind the Higher Cash Flow Outlook?
Celanese reported net sales of $2.556 billion, up about 6%, adjusted EPS of $1.65 and GAAP diluted EPS from continuing operations of $0.68. Free cash flow was $461 million on Operating Cash Flow of $538 million, and net Earnings attributable to the company were $74 million.
Management expects full-year adjusted EPS of about $6.00 to $6.25 and free cash flow of $750 million to $800 million. The prior adjusted EPS range was not stated in the files, so the article gives only the new figures.
Net Debt fell to $10.183 billion, and the company signed a deal to sell a further 19% of a food ingredients joint venture for about $152 million. The year-earlier GAAP loss included a $1.1 billion non-cash Goodwill impairment, so that comparison is distorted.
Empire State Realty Trust: Can Leasing Offset a Weak Observation Deck?
Empire State Realty Trust reported net income of $0.02 per diluted share and Core FFO of $0.20 per share, down from $0.05 and $0.23 a year earlier. Even so, it lifted its 2026 Core FFO range and tightened same-store cash net Operating Income growth guidance to 1.75% to 2.25%, excluding termination fees.
The commercial portfolio was 95.6% leased at Sep 30, 2026, and office leasing spreads were positive at 9.9%. Total revenue of $193.1 million was down about 2.4% (calculated), as observatory revenue fell to $26.8 million from $36.0 million.
The company repurchased $85.8 million of stock since its second-quarter call and completed the $217.5 million sale of 1359 Broadway after quarter-end. The updated range already includes those items, and the observation deck assumption is unchanged.
Lattice Semiconductor: Is the Fourth-Quarter Guide Higher Than Before?
Lattice Semiconductor reported record fiscal third-quarter revenue of $291.0 million, up 118.3% from $133.3 million, with non-GAAP EPS of $0.72 and GAAP EPS of $0.08. The AMI acquisition, completed on Jul 27, 2026, added $39.1 million, or 13% of revenue.
Fourth-quarter revenue is guided to $325 million to $345 million, with non-GAAP EPS of $0.82 to $0.86. Management said the outlook implies 2026 revenue near $1 billion and sees a path to growth of 60% or better in 2027.
The article labels the guidance as raised based on management's statement that the outlook exceeds the prior quarter's, but the earlier fourth-quarter figure is not in the files. Long-term debt was $869.1 million, and net Leverage is expected below 2x by the end of 2026.
V2X: Does a $12.8 Billion Backlog Support the Raised Range?
V2X reported revenue of $1.271 billion, net income of $32.0 million, diluted EPS of $1.01 and adjusted EPS of $1.64. Awards of about $1.6 billion produced a book-to-bill of 1.2x and a total backlog of $12.8 billion, of which $2.6 billion was funded.
The 2026 outlook now calls for revenue of $4.95 billion to $5.1 billion, adjusted EBITDA of $352.5 million to $367.5 million and adjusted EPS of $6.15 to $6.55. The prior ranges were not stated in the files, so the raise reflects management's description on the call.
A drag remains in the Middle East, where revenue fell 30% as a customer reduced program scope. At the midpoint, the outlook implies only low single-digit fourth-quarter revenue growth.
Raised Outlooks Compared: Growth Rates, Spreads and Implied Fourth Quarters
Third-quarter revenue growth for the five averaged 36.2% (calculated), with a spread of 120.7 percentage points (calculated) between Lattice Semiconductor at 118.3% and Empire State Realty Trust at negative 2.4%. Combined revenue was about $5.01 billion (calculated), though currencies of measurement and Business models differ widely.
Two companies give a fourth-quarter revenue guide that can be compared with the third quarter. The Advanced Energy midpoint of $735 million is about 5.5% above its third-quarter figure (calculated), while the Lattice Semiconductor midpoint of $335 million is about 15.1% higher (calculated), the latter helped by a full quarter of AMI.
Celanese, Empire State Realty Trust and V2X raised other measures, so a direct ranking of the increases is not possible.
What to Watch Next: Dated Events Behind the Raised Outlooks
Celanese will hold an investor event on Dec 9, 2026 in Florence, Kentucky, and expects its food ingredients stake sale to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. Empire State Realty Trust scheduled a webcast and conference call for Nov 3, 2026.
No dated event was identified in the materials for Advanced Energy, Lattice Semiconductor or V2X beyond their coming fourth-quarter reports. V2X said formal 2027 guidance is still to come, and Lattice Semiconductor will include a full quarter of AMI in its next report.
