Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: KLIC) has announced a strategic partnership with Lavorro Inc. to deliver smart manufacturing solutions for the semiconductor industry. The collaboration combines Kulicke & Soffa’s equipment and connectivity platforms with Lavorro’s generative AI-enabled tools to provide actionable insights and scalable expert knowledge across manufacturing operations.

The integrated approach includes Kulicke & Soffa’s APTURA™ equipment and KNeXt™ fleet management system alongside Lavorro’s FabAssist.ai™ and ToolAssist.ai™ platforms. Lavorro’s virtual assistants, such as “Lucy,” are designed to assist in diagnosing issues, optimizing recipes, and automating maintenance workflows. These features are intended to improve metrics such as mean-time-to-repair and mean-time-between-failures.

The platform also enables knowledge formalization to support onboarding and decision-making across semiconductor manufacturing environments. According to both companies, this collaboration is aimed at advancing AI applications in advanced packaging and equipment services.

The solutions are currently available for early adoption through a structured deployment program that supports both on-premise and cloud-based settings.
