Niu Technologies (NASDAQ: NIU) has released its second quarter 2025 sales volume update, reporting total global unit sales of 350,090, which reflects a 36.6 percent increase compared to 256,162 units sold in the same period last year.
The company designs, manufactures, and sells electric motorcycles, mopeds, bicycles, kick-scooters, and e-bikes for urban travel needs. Niu’s portfolio includes the NQi, MQi, UQi, FQi, KQi, and BQi series. It operates under an omnichannel model that integrates both online and offline sales. In Q2 2025, China market sales rose to 318,719 units, up from 207,552 a year earlier. International market volume was 31,371 units, a decline from 48,610 in Q2 2024.
For the first half of 2025, Niu sold 553,403 units globally, compared to 385,301 units in the first half of 2024. The company stated that the disclosed sales volume is based on deliveries from its manufacturing facilities and may differ from figures used in financial accounting. Reported unit sales do not reflect total financial performance, which includes additional revenue streams and cost considerations.
